How to Convert Tire Sizes
Metric to Inch Formula
Width (inch): Width (mm) ÷ 25.4
Sidewall (mm): Width × Aspect Ratio ÷ 100
Diameter (inch): Rim + (2 × Sidewall ÷ 25.4)
Example: 285/75R16
Width: 285 mm = 11.2"
Sidewall: 285 × 0.75 = 213.75 mm
Diameter: 16 + (213.75 × 2 ÷ 25.4) = 32.8"
